MARFA, TX / 2024

From the jump, I knew Stephanie & Brian were special. They booked an engagement session in April of 2023. We bar jumped across Houston, TX and I never wanted our time together to end. We ended our session together at a dive bar that Steph & Brian frequented together. They changed into casual clothing and grabbed a drink while greeting all the familiar faces on the way in. I joined them at a table outside. Stephanie kept looking at Brian in the sweetest way and couldn't stop giggling. A light sprinkle of rain interupted our chat but Steph convinced Brian to dance with her in the rain. As our session came to an end, I couldn't help but feel sad! Waiting until April 2024 seemed forever away! 

I drove to Marfa, TX since it is basically in the middle of nowhere. But what a special, middle of nowhere place this was. It was the perfect place to hold their wedding. From the art that covered the town to the beautiful sunny weather, Marfa has become such a special place to me. I can only describe their day as colorful, heartfelt, and purposeful. It was an intimate celebration done RIGHT. We met in at 7am for some amazing photos at the abandoned Prada Marfa store with Steph & her bridal party. Getting ready went by fast, but I will always remember watching Brian's gaggle of nieces surround him with love.
